St. Lambert School in Sioux Falls, SD

Grant helps fund a visit from Poet Bruce Lansky

St. Lambert School in Sioux Falls, SD used their grant to help sponsor a visit from Bruce Lansky. Mr. Lansky's is known for his best selling books, "Kids Pick the Funniest Poems" and "A Bad case of he Giggles." He worked with each of their 2nd through 6th grade classes, sharing his creative poetry and inspiring the students to write poetry with him and then later on their own. Barbara Lockwood, principal at St. Lambert Stated "It was a wonderful event - a true highlight. We also preordered many of his books and then the students had him autograph them. Thank you again for making this possible for our school - our students!!"
