Three Rivers Middle School Create Their Own Books
Three Rivers Middle School used the grant money to buy materials necessary to publish their own books. Rose Marie Coble’s students wrote and illustrated stories in rhyme for a third grade class in Corpus Christi. Each story was bound into an 
individual book and each book contained a dedication page dedicating the book to a particular third grade student.The third grade class was then given a letter writing unit, and thank you notes were given to the eight grade students. Mrs. Coble stated that, “My students were as excited about receiving individual letters from these third grade students as the third graders were to receive the books! This project not only benefitted my classroom and our school, but another classroom and school as well.”
