Teachers' Comments about Creative Communication Wow! Thank you for the kind words of praise for the work of my 6th Grade reading Class and their poetry. We do several different poetry exercises and projects throughout the year and I have found that the experience of working with your contest helps create extra student enthusiasm for their work and our various topics. The pieces that we send you each year are based on the paintings by the father of our Headmistress, who was one of the builders and early benefactors of our school. Gedbaw, reading his poem for our Middle States Recreditation Presentation Video. That video has been seen all over New York state as we are one of the few elementary schools to be recredited by Middle States.
