money at Bonaire Elementary School funds poetry books
Excitement
was in the air as boxes of books were delivered to Bonaire
Elementary! After being awarded a grant from Creative
Communication, Bonaire received the long awaited library of books that
would awaken the children’s senses to the magic of figurative
language. Each grade level was designated a particular form of
figurative language in which to immerse their students. With the
scaffolding approach, we hope the students will leave elementary school
with the tools to be successful writers!
