money at Mount Jewett Elementary School funds poetry day
We would like to
thank you for helping our school have a Poetry Day. The students
and teachers at our school had a wonderful day learning and writing
poetry. The students went to different workshops to learn how to
write six styles of poetry: bio, acrostic, cinquain, fun, limerick, and
haiku. They then chose their favorite poem to read at the end of
the day when parents were invited to a ‘tea’. We look forward to
continuing with a Poetry Day each April.
