Grant
money at Rosholt High School funds poetry workshop
Our
school used the grant from Creative Communication to give students with
a strong interest in poetry a workshop taught by Tara Ault from the
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Students heard and read
poetry from Mrs. Ault, and then read their own poetry, shared
poetry-writing experiences, and discovered new ways to enhance the
poetry they write. Laughter, smiles, and applause marked an
afternoon of learning, fellowship and wonderful writing. One
student remarked, “I’ve never had so much fun writing poetry!”
