STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

Touches Us All

" I wish you could have been in our home to hear the squeals of joy when little Eva Mae opened your letter saying, 'she was a winner.' The glow of satisfaction and fulfillment radiated through the house touching all of us! She was also very blessed by affirmation and recognition by her school teacher, principal, and grown sisters. A Great Motivator

" Thank you for giving my daughter, Amanda this opportunity. When she received your letter about her poem being chosen to be published, she was so happy and proud that words could not describe her excitement. This program is truly a great motivator for young individuals. Once again thank you. "

A Real Boost to Writing

" We would like our son Benjamin (grade 6) to participate in your Creative Communications contest again this year. Last year he won for his poem about an eagle and was thrilled. It is a real boost to his writing. Please keep us posted on your contests, as we are prepping our next budding poet--Petra, 5 years old! "

You Support Creativity

" Thank you for the great news! Emily has won many awards for her writing and painting in Denver areas but this is by far her highest. We are very thrilled and we appreciate your efforts in supporting creativity. Very best luck and success to all of you. "

The Reason I Write

" I want to personally say thank you!! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to let everyone see my poems. Most of them are very personal and I wrote them during a very hard time in my life, but I keep writing because of you guys. So thank you so much!! "

A Contest I Trust

" I am SO happy to be part of this fun contest! When I got the email saying MY poem would be published in an actual book, I started jumping up and down joyfully, and immediately told my parents and the next day, told my teacher. You really made my day! Thanks again for just letting me have fun with this! Even if I don't/didn't win, I got to take part in a wonderful contest on a great website that my family, my school, my friends and I trust. "

Inspiring

" After your Fall 2012 issue, I was so inspired afterwards when I learned my name was among the 45% invited! Nevertheless, I entered twice more in 2013 and both submissions succeeded into the semifinals! I am now proud to say that I enlist in not just poetry, but essay contests and upon rejection, I still strive to exceed my expectations because of Creative Communication. These competitions have definitely boosted my literature writing skills. Thank you so much! Sincerely, A motivated student "

My Son Was So Excited

" My son was so excited when he opened your letter telling him that his poem was being published. I, as his very proud mother, wanted to write you and tell you the story behind the poem. He had just found out that he had cancer about two weeks before he wrote that poem. One day while he was in the Children's Hospital, they brought his mail to him, which included a package of graded papers his teachers had mailed to him. I opened it for him and we were looking through them, this was the first time I had read his poem and I cried like a baby. It made me realize that he had really accepted his cancer and I knew he would fight as hard as he could to get better so he could go back to the things he loves most in life. I am happy to report that his cancer is gone. His body is still recovering, but he looks and feels great! "

A Rewarding and Theraputic Experience

" My daughter began writing this poem for this contest shortly after the loss of our much-loved dog. Losing the family pet was devastating to her. Writing this poem really helped her to expose the feelings she had locked up inside. Thank you for giving her and other children the opportunity to express themselves through writing. It has been an extremely rewarding and therapeutic experience for my daughter. She still shares this poem with others, bringing tears to the eyes of all who listen. "
